Brandy McCauley

Brandy McCauley, LVN

Executive Director

Brandy McCauley, LVN, has been part of The Palms at Bonaventure family since 2009, when she started her career as a charge nurse. Brandy, who discovered a passion for working with seniors during her clinical nursing rotations, obtained her California administrator’s certificate and was eventually promoted to the role of executive director in 2014. Brandy greatly enjoys working with seniors, especially on the administrative and operational sides.

Outside of work, Brandy enjoys traveling, shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Ginny Arroyo

Martha Bishop

Director of Sales and Marketing
Martha Bishop recently joined the Palms at Bonaventure family after working in the senior healthcare field in Ventura County for over 15 years. Martha previously spent 9 years as the sales and marketing director of another assisted living community in Ventura. She has spent the last 5 years working as a sales representative in hospice care. She is well known throughout Ventura County and takes pride in assisting the senior community with all their needs. She has a degree in Psychology and graduated from UCSB. She loves the local restaurant scene and enjoying live music with her husband. She also practices yoga, loves to shop and travel. 
Ginny Arroyo

Stefanie Reyes

Generations Program Director

Stefanie Reyes started at The Palms at Bonaventure in 2011 and has worked in various roles, including medication aide and concierge. In 2022, Stefanie took the role of Generations program director. Prior to her current role at The Palms at Bonaventure, Stefanie served in various supervisory roles and has extensive experience in both the mental health and drug and alcohol fields. Stefanie is very enthusiastic and passionate about what she does every day serving our Generation seniors and supporting their families.  

When she is not working, Stefanie loves to spend time with her husband, twin daughters and son. 

Michael Callahan

Michael Callahan

Senior Culinary Services Director

Chef Michael Callahan has been the culinary services director at The Palms at Bonaventure since 2015, and has over 10 years of experience in the culinary industry. Over the course of his career, Michael has continued to expand his repertoire and provide quality dishes to our residents and guests.

In 2023, Chef Michael was promoted to senior culinary services director, a role in which he helps other sister communities improve their dining programs.

Harmony Langarica

Harmony Langarica

Business Office Director

Harmony Langarica has recently returned to her position as Business Office director at The Palms at Bonaventure after a brief hiatus. Harmony has served our residents for over eight years and is an expert on accounts payable and receivable, payroll and human resources. She is also a certified administrator and has worked as a case manager for a fiduciary team specializing in conservatorships in the past. Harmony is known for her quick wit, loyalty and passion for serving the senior population.

Outside of work, Harmony can often be found reading, knitting, and spending time with her husband and two small children.

John White

John White

Senior Vibrant Life® Director

John White joined The Palms at Bonaventure team as the Vibrant Life® director in 2020, although he has been working with seniors since 1997. Previously, John worked for Heritage Providers Network, where he was instrumental in organizing senior expos in Southern California. He also created a senior volunteer and exercise program in seven senior centers throughout the greater Los Angeles area. In addition, John helped establish the first ever LGBTQ+ Community Center in North Los Angeles County.

In 2023, John was promoted to senior Vibrant Life® director, a role in which he assists sister communities create meaningful and engaging activity programs for their residents.

Mary Ventura

Mary Ventura, LVN

Resident Care Director

Mary Ventura started at The Palms at Bonaventure in 2020 as a charge nurse. She was quickly promoted to Generation Program director and then in 2022 was promoted to Resident Care director. Mary has been in medical management for over 13 years, having obtained her nursing degree at Santa Barbara City College and becoming a licensed nurse in 2019. During the day, Mary can be found working to ensure our residents’ safety and that residents’ care plans are up-to-date, medications are in order, staff are educated with the latest information, and everyone’s needs are being met.

Mary’s biggest accomplishment in life is her family. She has two daughters, two sons and two grandsons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and working out.

Mary Ventura

Rudy Arroyo 

Building Service Director 

Rudy Arroyo is the building service director at The Palms at Bonaventure. He has over 25 years of experience working in new construction and property management. He grew up in Ventura County and attended trade school, where he received his State Welding Certificate. Rudy worked as a welder in different industries such as construction, oil fields and agriculture. He then attended vocational school and received a Certificate of Achievement in Construction Management and a Certificate of Achievement in Environmental Technology (HVAC).  

When he is not maintaining our beautiful community, he loves going on scenic drives, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and dogs.
